    Hi Aaron, and welcome :)

I’ve also started reading Human Japanese (on the iPhone) a bit before I came to TextFugu. I learned Hiragana mostly from it, but, even after going through the Katakana for a while, it didn’t “stick” with me (probably because I was reading a lot more Hiragana and hence getting more practice for it). But hopefully, now that I met Anki, things will go a lot smoother…

Enjoy learning a great language :)

Hi @Carlie & @winterpromise31 thank you for the warm welcomes! :)

Yeah, I’ve been registered with JapanesePod101 for a while now (not paid), sometimes I do get some pretty interesting articles on the e-mail, maybe it will be worth to subscribe at a later time.

I also found some pretty cool videos that I’m watching. You can find ‘em by searching for “Let’s Learn Japanese Basic” on YouTube. They’re from a pretty old TV Series that taught Japanese. They focus too much on romaji (at least for now) but I’ve gathered loads of new vocabulary and phrases through it. But yeah, not as good as fugu :)

Also found Anki is available on iPhone… but whole cr… it’s expensive as hell.

Well, back to learning! Thanks again for the welcome :D
