Thanks for your suggestions people! Sorry for the late post, I thought no one had replied . I’d just forgotten to subscribe to the thread. :v
The original games only use hiragana, so doesn’t that make you guys feel intimidated? It might be easier if you’re a Japanese kid that already knows the spoken word, but I think it’s harder than actual Japanese script for the intermediate learner of the language..
At least with Kanji the word means one thing only! Correct me if I am wrong, I am just thinking out loud.

Hey! Lip them? Lip them? What?

Haven’t you ever listened to music in English? Pretty much all song lyrics are completely butchered in order to make them fit the rhythm or rhyme structure. =P

I was drinking lots of alcohol during that time of my life, if that’s an excuse :P (Hint, it’s not)
    I should have known better.

    Akibujin :

    Have you tried it?

I gave it a try but I don’t think it’s for me .. [Speaking of Wanikani]

You guys , thanks for your input. Also, how much time do y’all spend in studying every day? What do you think is a good time schedule?

To マーク・ウェーバー, I don’t read newspapers and I’m not really interested in them, I just wanted to see where I am at. But I guess I will have to stick with blogs that I like . Sticking to something you enjoy reading about is crucial indeed.

To Michael : Thanks for the link I will definitely check it out :>

It’s weird finding stuff I really like since the original idea for me to learn Japanese was to be able to understand Hatsune Miku songs and generally Japanese songs, but I had no idea at the time how butchered the lyrics are grammatically speaking. Oh well!

I would prefer to have seen it in hiragana as you say, but the thing is that it was in Kanji. Anyway thanks for the answer I’ll look more into it later.

What if I wanted to remove the kana in brackets completely? Just leave the Kanji as they are , without adding the clause to have furigana (at least not in the first card)

EDIT2: I fixed the problem of the annoying brackets in this particular deck (2k + 6k) , this was the only deck that had a problem displaying furigana properly. If anyone is interested the solution was this :

To get furigana to render correctly in the clozed sentence field, the front template needs to be changed from {{Sentence-Clozed} to {{furigana:Sentence-Clozed}}.
Also a late thanks to マーク・ウェーバー for the reply.

I prefer reading from a real physical book but since this is mostly for learning purposes, I wouldn’t mind it being electronic . I’ve heard of Yotsuba, thanks for the recommendation. (I remembered it thanks to you now and I will try to find it online)

A PM woud be appreciated if you know of any good sites pertaining to the physical books themselves

I posted it on lang-8 and a girl corrected the Japanese . What a joke. As if Rei Harakami doesn’t know his own language. (Or knew, RIP)

Another pair of questions pertaining to the same subject:

1.Can I sync my tablet pc with anki on the computer in order to have the same statistics as the computer version of anki ?

2.Does it take long to sync?

3.Is that free? (I am talking about the android version)

EDIT: I’m thinking of buying the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 from Samsung or the Nexus from Google

Yes, I was thinking in terms of portability as well. I think the Kindle Fire (the small ones) is a good choice.
