Thank you for this post. I was listening to Japanese radio stations and hearing a lot of ありません instead of じゃありません and I was wondering why.
Hello there. It is nice to see someone else from Montreal.
My Japanese is nowhere near as advanced as yours, as Textfugu is my first Japanese-learning resource and I am only up to season 3. Still, I am making terrific progress (I think).
My goal is not to live in Japan, but hopefully to work on some creative projects there. We shall see in time.
Sorry for stealing your introduction thread, by the way.
