It’s a few steps removed, so I’m going to say that it’s OK.
Just FYI kanjiman, all of those dictionaries you mentioned probably use the same (Jim Breen) dictionary, just packaged differently. See my dictionaries guide on Tofugu:

I have an iPhone, but it looks like JED is the most popular, free, offline Japanese dictionary for Android.
Ponponpon is like if Lisa Frank threw up and it was Japanese.
