Hey N’Donna! Glad to see you round these parts!
Hey Curtis, welcome! Good luck learning Japanese!
@Mark: I think MisterM is talking about “Paki,” which is pretty offensive in a lot of countries.

Heya Akikuchiba! Glad you found us, good luck learning Japanese! :D
Congratulations Mark! Good luck with Season 2 :)
Yeah, but nbd though because I’m sure I’ll get to go to Japan anyway, hopefully in the not-so-distant future :)
Multany when are you planning to apply to the program? Don’t most people go their junior year?
Yeah, the program only sent a handful of people, and I didn’t have to foresight to sign up for another one.

What I meant was that if you apply to a study abroad program outside of your school, then there might be problems with transferring credits.
But if you end up going to Konan through your school’s program, then there should be any problems with credits :)
And I applied to my school’s study abroad program, but wasn’t accepted :(((((
If your school’s program is too expensive, I know you can usually shop around and find other programs to apply to that might be cheaper; although your school might not accept all the credits you earn over in Japan.
Still, I think it’s worth looking into.
That’s a pretty big question to be honest. Aside from the cultural differences between western and eastern cartoons and comics, there are tons of stylistic differences in terms of writing and drawing as well. I don’t know if I can really properly explain x_x
Interesting username, Heather :p

In my experience, the weeaboos get weeded out of Japanese lessons after about second year. But the first couple of years of Japanese are indeed usually weeaboo central, unfortunately :[
Hey Vladimir! Glad that you’ve started your Japanese studies again. Enjoy your stay here at TextFugu :)
