Hello fellow idol fans, I know none of you are checking these forums regularly anymore, but you should try this game
It is basically a game about buying shares, and then the shares are idols(AKB & sister groups)
It was Missing who found it ^^ You can also get it in English, though many features stay in Japanese, and it is only partly translated.
I have been playing for a few days, and it is great fun.
As Joel said people will probably get the answer, but it is better to go with what he listed. I think also some people will just think you forgot to add な and wanted to say なので even though that answer doesn’t make much sense for this question.
I am all for using native material as soon as possible, but I think you should do it with something that interest you. So for example this guy has an interest in anime, so why not just use manga or something else and just sit down and read it and have fun? If it is something that interest you, I believe you will learn a lot more, and will want to continue learning. When doing self study, I think fun is essential, and that is why I am saying “just give up”.
If this is you, then just give up.
Give it another year or 2, then you might be able to understand enough of it to actually pay off.
1. find the word you want to learn
2. preferably go to a J-J dic and look it up
3. add the word to anki
4. study

Both can be used to give an order. Basically the difference is that 止まれ puts more emphasis on the order, and therefore isn’t as polite.

If you can’t understand Japanese very well, there is no point in playing a game in Japanese. you will end up having to use google translate, and in that case I would say playing a game is so boring, that it would be more fun for you to just study Japanese. It is not so much that only knowing hiragana will stop you from enjoying a game, it is the lack of vocab and grammar that will end up ruining your experience.
