For casual Japanese, 2ch is biggest resource in the world. At first it might seem hard to navigate, but once you get the hang of it, it is rather easy to navigate the site. Of course I am mostly reading AKB-related stuff(mostly through http://akb48matome.com/) but there are topics about everything there, and it very casual Japanese.

Of course akbmatome only has topics related to AKB, but it really convenient to use that site, because other sites will translate the topic into English, so if there is something you don’t understand you can usually just find it translated and make sense of it. It is a good way to learn Japanese for me, and I am very interested in it all, so I read through it every day ^^
There ought to be something on 2ch that interest you :)

Oh, and of course following AKB members on G+, and making some Japanese friends on there definitely isn’t bad either. But that is only about AKB, so probably not anything for you ^^ http://www.google.com/intl/ja/+/project48/

I only pointes out what confused me when reading, and you must admit that both ほ お were hard to read? Maybe it comes down to the fonts you are used to. :S

From just looking at it fast, I can tell you that

your ほ is written wrong

your お should probably have a far larger circle, and the dot is placed wrong.

You can embed images by using (img)link(/img) using brackets instead of parentheses :)

The guy who made anki, makes no money from his desktop version – only from donations. He made the entire program, including things like sync etc.

In order to make money from this, he decided to make an app for appstore(also made by him). He decided on what he thinks is a fair price.

The android version was not made by him, and he let someone else make the app for android. Since it was not his work, he isn’t charging anything for it.

To be honest, it is barely anything to pay for such an awesome program. Considering how much I use it, I should probably donate him something for his awesome work. After all he isn’t out to rip people, only to make a living.

First person to ever get a question answered on G+ by 14gen’s mako :3

For now I have them all added, but have any of you figured out a favorite member among 14gen? From what I have seen this far of kks stages and now G+ I would probably have to chose mako or nana.

Tip, don’t buy anything from amazon JP and get it shipped. I hear it is very expensive. I prefer CD japan for everything, since most of the time what I want is related to akb, and they have everything there. They do also have other books, but their selection is somewhat limited, though I have found what I needed on there.

Other than that I prefer to use amazon.co.uk for all my grammar books, since it is reasonably priced and delivery is free.
