正?
Before I start off, this is way too long for a mini-lesson! There is no way I am going to use the rest of my day on trying to go through all of that.
1. However going through some of the first sentences I can tell it is about someone wanting to lose weight – quickly. And later on it spins off in to something about making your face look slim? Pretty weird xD
2. Some exercises for the face, eating スルメ, running and using フェイササイズ(didn’t ever make it to that part, but since it is listed here I guess it is also suggested)
3. http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E3%83%95%E3%82%A7%E3%82%A4%E3%82%B5%E3%82%B5%E3%82%A4%E3%82%BA%E2%80%95%E8%87%AA%E5%88%86%E3%81%A7%E3%81%A7%E3%81%8D%E3%82%8B%E3%83%95%E3%82%A7%E3%82%A4%E3%82%B7%E3%83%A3%E3%83%AB%E3%83%BB%E3%82%A8%E3%82%AF%E3%82%B5%E3%82%B5%E3%82%A4%E3%82%BA-%E3%82%AD%E3%83%A3%E3%83%AD%E3%83%AB-%E3%83%9E%E3%83%83%E3%82%B8%E3%82%AA/dp/4584187150
4. I don’t think I read enough to get to this part
5. To me the “facercise”
6 スルメ, 古典的, さ=(-ness), te-form verb to be followed up by a verb+tara was new to me. After a few sentences I turned Rikaichan on, so I didn’t learn all that much :P
And this sentence is just brilliant :D
結婚式の衣装着てみたら自分の顔のデカさに愕然としたわI appreciate you doing this, but I think the length should be greatly adjusted :)
RTK, Tae Kim, Japanese Sentence patterns [...] & a sentence deck.
I tried to download PDF versions of some of the textbooks you guys recommended, and I wasn’t really impressed with most of them (and they cost $$$) so I decided to stick with Tae Kim for now. I might decide to pick up a textbook at some point, but I think I would prefer A Dictionary of Basic Japanese Grammar to a textbook.
Again, thanks for the recommendations, made it easier for me to make a choice :DYeah that would make sense, but there was no text so it was a little hard to figure :D
圧
yeah apparently someone didn’t get the idea of 1 kanji per post xD
丈
太
口 is on page 6, 囗 is not common use, 三 page one ^^
This one fits nicely on the grid: 犬
巾 If I am not wrong it is only 市 that has been here yet.
…I think I’m not getting the rules to this game :S Where are 末 and 未 and 兄 and 它 and 叉 and 市 and 瓦 and 母 and 半 and 守 and 舟 and various other kanji that have already been mentioned? What about all the kanji with curved lines?
As I said earlier I didn’t make this game, and just took it from someone else, but it seems to me that you can extend lines and shorten lines as long as they follow the grid. This means that kanji can extend beyond the grid, thus making 末 and 未 and fine. I was the first one to post a character that looked like this, but that is how I understood the rules ^^
它 末 半 市 守 and 未 see above
兄 requires a top half of 2 “boxes” which will mess up the look but can be done xD
瓦 舟 母 well I can see your point, though these can kind of be done with the grid, but curved lines are not included so actually not.
Can’t update the OP though, but please go ahead and see if you can find any kanji – I think we will hit the limit soon :P冗
Like the boat kanji, hadn’t thought about that :D-

Haha every time you use the forums it is just to cry for more content Mark. I do however totally agree with you, mini-lessons were awesome, and the feedback was awesome, so I think it would be a good thing to bring them back. Also, this provides some good content for those who are done with TextFugu ^^
I can actually see it fit, but that would make the lowest box very wide, but I guess it still counts :P
and in regards to 石 vs 右 I got it wrong. Too much kanji xD
a final one
