http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmuMgXN-ca8i gotta question about studying kanji.
im about to finish doing 800 vocab words in core2000, and now im about to FINALLY start my kanji learning.
i know the radicals that Tofugu gave us, so i had a question…is it a good idea to learn all the kanji that tofugu gave us, and from there, used what i learned from the previous kanji and radicals to make the other kanji learning much easier?…
cause i agree that learning kanji ordered by stroke order is better. but after i learn the low stroke order kanji, i can start learning all the joyo kanji ordered from grade level by using the techniques that tofugu gave us.
would this be a good way to go about it?yea, ive only used junk
now im only downloading バナナマンのバナナムン
i started with an episode in 2008, then download chronologically form there
バナナマンのバナナムン seems to be longer than others too. very casualjust starting to translate sentences that was recommended by AJATT.
im supposed to do 10,000 over time…but ill never do that.
just made check marks going up to 500 in Evernote.
along with each japanese core2000 lessonwould it just be something like おめあばかよ or simply ばか ?
yea, i meant saying ‘hi’ casually
a translation for either ‘hey’ or ‘whatsup’ would help me as well

み, わfor kanji…
夢 (ゆめ=DREAM)thanks yo

in terms of casual talk, (some might not translate at all) how do you say…
1. hey, whatsup
2. whatever
3. there’s no way
4. come on (as in, lets go)
5. wow, that’s hella crazy (i used ‘hella’ just cause its a slang for ‘very’)
6. alright, later (じゃまた is casual for saying bye. how would ‘alright’ be used with it?….that is, if じゃまた is even used for the term ‘later’)hopefully this isnt confusing U_U
oh i thought やる was just a more casual form of する.
voncrumb’s info comes in handy too
ok so whats the difference between ~かみのけ and かみ …for hair
おんなのか and おんな (のひと) …for girl/womantheyd just see them as being american
im not sure what the older generations would think. but yea i dont think theyd think much of it -
