Nope, insanimal, I didn’t (but thanks for asking) – I’ve pretty much given up on Anki as a resource because it simply doesn’t customize well; it’s the first, and so far only, TF-recommended resource I don’t find myself able to use. That’s okay, though – I’m using White Rabbit’s hard copy flashcards (which allow me to do EXACTLY what I want to do), and several other resources.
One thing I had hopes for that Anki doesn’t allow, is the ability to create a ‘deck’ using ‘cards’ from other decks. I could easily build a deck of ten starter cards, then add 5 more at a time from Koichi’s deck. That would seem to be pretty basic functionality (building a deck from scratch is WAY too complex); I’m sorry Anki doesn’t seem to allow this (if I’m wrong in this, please let me know).
