While I’m nowhere near advanced, I’ve had a few times where I’ve had that…”Eureka” moment before.
If my memory serves me right, it wasn’t just one in-your-face moment, it was many subtle moments.
Whenever I recognize Japanese out in the ‘wild’, that’s when I feel that I’m taking small, but consistent steps towards Japanese fluency.
It’s kinda hard to put into words, but I hope you understand what I’ve said. =)
Ouch, sounds pretty brutal. And here I thought that Japan had a decent co-curricular system, at least, that’s what it seemed like from anime.
Is it any different in Japanese high schools?
For me, I’d say that these past few months have been quite fruitful. Learning new grammar points, strengthening my vocab and discovering more things to love about Japan-it’s been an awesome 6 months.
I’ve also used some techniques mentioned in Textfugu in my studies as well, especially the 365-day chart technique. Though I wouldn’t venture to say that I actually studied, at least I got to review plenty of stuff consistently, rather than cramming it in like I always do.
So, thanks for everything dude, I look forward to more lessons and awesomeness (and videos)!
Apa khabar, my Malaysian bro!
I just joined about half a year ago and it’s been quite awesome around here, though I’m not that active in the forums. It’s nice to see people in Malaysia taking up a foreign language other than English too.
Well, hope you enjoy learning Japanese (while suffering with kanji (T_T)).
Thanks guys, I appreciate it. =)
Sorry, typo there. 時 should be とき.
Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it. =)
