Your welcome. Thanks, I’m really enjoying studying using TF. I think there maybe a big list of adverbs too in Season 4. Big lists of grammar are the only things that slow me down. If you need any help, don’t forget to ask here on the forums.
You’ll catch up in no time :). The thing that took me the longest was memorising the vocabs list for verbs. On Season 4 there’s also a big list of adjectives to learn. Once you get all that down, you’ll whizz thorugh each chapter.
Your welcome :)
Season 3 was a blast. Lots of new and important info to learn. I’m currently on Season 4. Happy studying :)

Welcome back. Nice to see you on the forums again :)There might be some examples on this page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_counter_word
As it’s wikipedia, the explanations aren’t always easy to understand.
http://japanese.about.com/bllesson11.htm has some examples at the bottom.

Gatwick is about a 20 minute drive from my house. If I was taking the JLPT this year I would asked you if you were interested in meeting up. Anyway, good luck with the JLPT. Let us know how you found it.@ Mister M
That’s awesome. Good luck with working there.I haven’t reached the lesson on はず yet. I listed the 4 な adjectives that end with an い just as a quick reference. Didn’t mean to confuse anyone if I did :D
haha thanks. the vocab deck was getting so big, it was starting to feel like a chore to try and get through it each day. now that i’ve split it up, it’s in smaller managable chunks. to me, it’s much easier going through a smaller amount, than a bigger amount.
According to http://www.textfugu.com/season-1/japanese-pronunciation/3-9/
ぢ sounds more like ji rather than dzi. じ is also pronounced as ji so think of both characters as having the same sound.
づ is pronounced as dzu where as ず is pronounced as zu. With づ, try and roll the d while pronouncing it.
Someone already made a thread about this earlier http://www.textfugu.com/bb/topic/wanikani/

What uni are you going to?The R set of sounds are something you’ll have to closely listen to and mimmick as best you can. http://www.textfugu.com/season-1/japanese-pronunciation/3-8/#top koichi provides the best tips and demo on how to get better at pronouncing them.
Hello and welcome to the forums. I’m also from the UK. Good luck.
Fair point missing. I haven’t read all of his posts so may have missed him pointing that out. I take it you’ve been studying Japanese for a few years now? What resources are you currently using?
Sadly, I won’t be listening to idols when I do the immersion process. They’re pretty looking but the music isn’t for me :(
I’ll look into that one.
I’ve just split up my anki vocab deck. It was becoming too cluttered. I wanted every section of vocab to have it’s own deck. While it has increased the number of decks, it gives me more control over what to study first.
