That’s quite helpful for remembering them.
Thank you for sharing this. :)
Yeah but also the style of the eyes and the rest of the drawing which go together. Anime is a unique form of art in my eyes.
I just see anime and manga as cartoons and comics from Japan with a unique style (the ‘big eyes’ being one of the main traits) and a much wider range of genres and plots. I personally prefer anime and manga to western cartoons and comics because of the style of drawing, the uniqueness and the wide range of plots to choose from.
Hehe, I think I’m quite bad at helping people. ^^”
You’re welcome though and thanks. :)I’ve been learning Japanese for over 2 years and despite joining TextFugu way over a year ago I never got past Chapter 6 in Season 1. I’m mainly using TextFugu for extra information – not as my primary learning source.
Thank you so much Index!
まぁまぁ I believe is a sound, to add enthusiasm/joy.
When I was translating Little Red Riding Hood in Japanese, when she tried on the cloak the neighbour said that she looked very cute in it but he was like “まぁ、かわいい赤ずきんだこと!” to add that he was pleased. How do I unzip? :x
WinRAR confuses me.
I know you don’t need anymore help but I might as well post a Nintendo DS game that I have found useful…
At my Japanese tutoring sessions, sometimes my tutor will want me to practice my writing of kanji (using this Nintendo DS game to save paper) and it can also help you improve your Hiragana writing. It has several other uses such as filling in words but it’s in complete Japanese so to be able to use the game properly without any game – you’d probably need at least an Intermediate level of understanding.
Tadashii Kanji Kakitori-kun is the name of the game but I don’t know which version of it.
^ I’d highly recommend that Nintendo DS game if you need help with writing kanji and have at least an Intermediate understanding of Japanese. :)
P.S. I know that game has already been mentioned but I thought I might as well vouch for it as I have experienced that game. It’s quite fun and has been very beneficial for my Japanese learning.
I’d love to be able to use this Anki deck but I’m a newb and I don’t know how to unzip it into Anki…
It would be nice to have a Search function but if it’s not currently possible then there’s nothing we can do.
Welcome to TextFugu, Aycee!
Good luck learning Japanese.
I was ready to post a “Uh, dude – this is a JAPANESE learning website.” but then I actually read this and lol’d. I was only 1/2 expecting this to be a joke though so good one to you, sir.
I wish I had a RuneScape friend. >_> Or maybe I should move on to Starcraft…
Anyway, welcome to TextFugu and good luck learning Japanese! *kicks fairy dust into yer fayce*
Welcome to TextFugu, Ryan!
Good luck learning Japanese.
At least you don’t have worry about learning to write the kanji or recognise them. :)
