My name is Kyria Joy Osterhouse. I'm an artist currently residing in the northern wilds of Michigan. I love history, wolves, whole foods and sustainability, travel, books, and the natural life. I've decided to embark upon the adventure of learning Japanese for several reasons. I've been fascinated with Japanese culture for a long time, so I studied Asian Art History in university, and I would like to be able to continue that study with a firm grasp of an Asian language. I also hope to travel to Japan in the next few years to participate in the WWOOF Japan Program (World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms) and I think the experience would be incredibly edifying if I could live it through the language!
