oooh that’s brilliant. From when did you start? If Koichi-san is ok that we make this a thing, I might volunteer to go back and do the ones you missed (especially if your starting point is ahead of where I am in the book) — after all I need them in order to hammer in some of the vocabulary I’m struggling with from the last 3 or 4 lessons.

Personally I just move the decks in the main menu over the one I want to import it to. Then it makes a sub deck. I don’t know if this is enough for you. I’m not totally sure I understand you problem.

Cimmik, I’m doing that too, but then ときどき Anki will complain “you have too many decks” and tell me it’s not designed to be used that way :-/

For those using Anki2 I found this great video.

I feel a little abandoned :-( The sentences were the centre of the experience for me, the bit that was really doing the trick. The way our brain works, it’s a lot easier to remember “さとうはじてんしゃじゃありません” than any of the individual concepts therein. After the sentences stopped, my progress slowed considerably…

I guess the idea is that we should have enough basics now to go “social learning” on lang-8 or shadowing J-Pop or whatever? I find I don’t, though.
