Does this have to be a today, right now thing?
If not: ever having acne.
If yes: longer hair.I didn’t want to admit it before myself, but over the past few days I came to a realization that I’ll have to
give upput a hold on learning Japanese, at least for now, if I don’t want to screw school up completely.Quitting is dumb.
Tried my hand at some カレー

カレーが好きです。^^Although now my house smells super strong (-….- ;)
These are neato. I’ll have to add these to my daily Japanese routine. ありがとうございます~
Finished Season 3 a few days ago, finally feeling comfortable with most of the verbs. Moving on to Season 4 today :3
What about this place http://gakuu.com/ ?? If you go to your dashboard and click the extras tab there is a discount.
“Textfugu teaches you the basics and how to learn Japanese most effectively. But you’ll also need to get used to more advanced material too. That’s where Gakuu comes in! We explain the trickier aspects of the language and culture by breaking down real stuff that Japanese people use themselves every day.”
I was thinking that when I finish textfugu I would go there next.
I take lots of paper notes. Mostly because I like handwriting in the first place regardless of how nice it looks (although, I do try to make them pretty). Since learning verbs I’ve been writing Japanese in my planner/calendar thing because it forces me to read what I meant to do that day. I also have a language blog. Its super nerdy but forcing myself to make a post (which I have like 3 drafts right now.. GAH) really helps me remember. It’s mostly a summary of each chapter, but the fact that my friends/ family could be checking up on it is really motivation to keep it up so they can see where I’m at.
I don’t very often look back at them but actually doing them really solidifies the information in my memory.
I want to play..
hiragana – http://tinyurl.com/6t5nmzp
katakana – http://tinyurl.com/7hrx3kmI love the sync. I always have a lot of downtime at work and its perfect for reviewing. Just like Mark, I use a time limit instead of a card limit, sometimes for 30-30 :d.
Either way, Welcome to the both of you!
Finished the 2nd verb chapter today. There are so many of them! Also been trying a lot of “immersion” techniques. I don’t know if it’s “working” yet but I sort of like it. I only have a couple chapters left of Season 3, exciting!
She’s right. I’m totes jealous. WELCOME!
GAMERA! I’ve always wanted a pet turtle named Gamera… Anyway welcome!
Good Luck learning Japanese!

Well if nothing else I still killed about an hour at work, so thanks for that! XD
