<--- I love to draw. :) Welcome~
Happy belated birthday to you, sir. I never tell anybody my birthday because of that, but then again I don’t have a Facebook either.
I don’t know much about my family history except that I’m part German/Irish. I’d like to know more, but sadly I’m not very close to much of my family. My family doesn’t get along very well; the majority are rich snobs or drug addicts. The drug addicts are too drugged up to care about anything and the rich snobs are too rich to care about anybody but themselves.
Line from a song. It looks awkward though. :< I still have trouble fitting the bigger Kanji inside the lines, like 腐 and 傷
THANK YOU, I’m glad I’m not the only one who does this.
Hmmm, I might try that! Because often I recognize kanji only from doing RTK, but I don’t know the readings. :]
I’ve done that on accident with Rikaichan a few times but I didn’t know how I did it, so thank you! haha. I had to keyboard-mash to get it back to the way it was.
Yes, IMPROVISE. orreadthedirectionsbutwhodoesthatanyway.
nb4rikaisama.
Also, it’s not -always- for babies. I’ve heard grown men call each other ~ちゃん (close friends). I’d rather be CHAN than KUN. :D
I’m cuter.
true story.
Ah, I was just looking for opinions, really; there’s no right, wrong, helpful/non helpful, or bad answer. :P Starting this topic made me realize a few things and now I feel really silly for even bringing it up.
I was mostly just curious as to how people make use of of RikaiCHAN (firefox ftw :D), besides the obvious, and how often they rely on it.
Like I said, HABIT. I guess I didn’t word this properly. ._.”’
I suppose what I really meant was, do you think that physically looking up a word rather than using rikaichan more effectively helps you remember said word?
Thank you. :) I’ve taken several breaks in adding new kanjis, but I still keep up with reviews daily, so I don’t feel so bad about my pace. I don’t know how it’s going to be once classes start for me on Monday…
I heard that it goes faster after 1,000 as well; it’s actually a little bit of motivation for me. That, and I keep telling myself, “You’re halfway.. you can’t stop now, idiot.” I’m back to 25/day. :D
Congrats on finishing! It must feel amazing to conquer the beast. :D
I am at 1,100 now… been struggling, but getting through them. :/
cannot WAIT until I can say I am finished.
Starting college on Monday… if Hurricane Irene doesn’t knock Florida off the map. yesiloveexaggerating.
I remember a few months ago when I was still learning Hiragana, I went out and got drunk with my now ex-boyfriend. I didn’t drink a lot, but then again I am a HUGE light-weight anyways. Well, the next day, I completely forgot half of the Hiragana that I learned.
It’s not a huge deal, but yeah… I haven’t had a drink since; that really scared me. Not a good feeling.

羊 because.. it actually looks like a sheep. :3 I have a small dry-erase board which I use to practice drawing kanji when I learn them, so.. when I learned this one, I started drawing flocks of 羊 kanji.
み because it’s SO fun to write that loopy line. ま、も、め.. pretty much all of the M’s, actually. o.o
