Thanks! I’m looking for a word that would be used to compliment someone if they were wearing a really nice outfit, what’s the hiragana for that word?
I would love this. Sadly I’m one of those really annoying ‘addicted to my iphone / everything it does is magic’ people.
@Hashi We finish high school at 16 here, then we can optionally go to college in order to get a-levels (like I have an a-level in politics, meaning I passed some exams – woo) and you can only get into university with a-levels :)
Japanese courses require high grades, which I didn’t get, hence why I’m off back to college :)@ビリー That’s okay, I live on imported pop tarts anyway, here we only get strawberry and chocolate flavours, and they’re only found in one supermarket. it’s incredibly upsetting. :’(
Watching a j-drama inspires me, hearing the language and understanding parts, and seeing Japanese culture reinforces how much I want to go there.
I think it’s good to remind yourself WHY you want to learn Japanese, why you love the language.
