More accurately, I am living in Suita. It’s somewhat of a suburb of Osaka. So, it’s not exactly dense like the urban core, but it has its charms. After living in Southern California for nearly all of my life, I know that the subtropics of Osaka and the dreaded summers will be a challenge. But hey, you gotta take the good with the bad.

This isn’t my first time in Japan, so the “Alice in Wonderland” feelings aren’t quite as strong. However, I am sure I will find that the rabbit hole is quite deep and there are many things to learn and experience now that I will be in another country for quite some time.
