I was actually going to make a topic about this as well! Any information on this yet? If not I might try sending an email because I don’t want to be missing out on Vocab I should be learning. :(
Yea, I’m hoping if I go back and refresh on everything I’ll stop messing up with those jo/jou kanji. As where I was, I was constantly making mistakes on them and would have about 8 different jo/jou kanji daily in my Anki study list. =/

Two hundred and thirty-four, apparently, though that’s almost certainly catching kanji with じょう as well. That’s nothing, though – しょう has five hundred and twelve. Mind you, if you limit the search to only the joyo kanji, those numbers drop to thirty-four and eighty-one, respectively. =P

Ah, thank you very much! That can be confusing, but I suppose if I wasn’t warned of a different way to pronounce said kana, I should stick to what I know. I just try to replicate the pronunciation as accurately as possible, and that through me off.
