You really are a world citizen, nice :)
I figure food is one of the best passions to have as far as a passion list goes. It’s not just food but everything else around it, preparing food, ordering food, growing food, pets… (to feed, not to eat!), parties, social functions…

    Anyway.
    Welcome and good luck! :)

Just started on the 2nd Kanji lesson…37 new ones, that will take a while to memorize, strawberry smell or not! ;)
The text was referencing it, but I couldn’t find a link to them telling me to go learn them…
    Or I am blind or it’s a mistake in Season 2…hmm, I’ll look again…

    Sounds good to me!
Good luck with the Japanese, it helps that you are trying it in uni and via textfugu, just don’t get mixed up cos one covers stuff in a different order as the other ;)

Heh. Lots of progress all over the place, nice, or not nice… :)
I am just starting negative nouns on the website :)
Hardest thing so far was…getting Anki to work. lol.
The language is easy, getting a set of card installed into another set, such a pain! Don’t worry, I’ll get it! ;)

    Hi Rick!
    Welcome :)

Yea, what they said. Maybe run into a problem first before you start asking for help straight off the bat ? ;)
My method may not be yours.
Basicly I learn something and practice all day, then totally leave it for a few days and see what I can remember when I come back. Usually 80% is still in my head, the other 20% is then far easier to learn. (or should I be saying 70/30 ? Hmmm… ;))

    Good luck!

    I have my moments… ;)
But now we are thousands of miles apart, so I’m eager to get some money in the bank and learn some Japanese while I wait :)

    Thanks for the welcome :)
