Or you can try watching my nearly 3 hour lecture on how I learn Japanese

Looks like you’re finally getting the idea
Might as well
My goal has always been the same:
“TO BE THE VERY BEST, THAT NO ONE EVER WAS” OF COURSE!
Last goal: N1, then afterwards, eternal greatness!
Tyler> Don’t give up. Thinking you can’t do it is already nearly the same as giving up. Just think about when you get so good at Japanese, you will look back and all your struggles will just be some funny story to tell.
There’s always the TaeKim app for mobile smartphone like devices and thats always free

Where in Jersey, do you dwell?

Starting from scratch means what it means. It means I deleted my deck, and added new ones.
It’s not a waste of time at all if you are confident in knowing more than half the deck already. Rather, its more of a waste of time of relearning what you know already, and what you should already know. It was the one that I was making in 2010 till like early 2011.
I just copy and past the definition, and find a good example sentences. Then add the word. Usually looks something like this
I think I would rather keep the decks I have now, since the reviews are like 0-10 a day. I need the reviews even though they are few ;)
By the way, there was a time where I stopped and reviews started accumulating way too quickly. The thing is though, it was a personal made deck so I could afford to completely delete it even though it had over 1000 cards and start from scratch again. I would suggest doing that but I don’t know how you guys with premade decks feel about that
Regardless of my result from the JLPT test I took in December 2012, I’m gonna study with the intention of taking N1 this year.
In the nearer future, I want to get a high rank in the Tadoku contest. Right now, I’m ranked at low 30′s. I’m gonna try to make that go up, at the moment theres a lot of conflict with the material I’m reading and reviews on Anki.
Otherwise, I wanna be the very best. That no one ever was.
