It took me about two weeks, learning usually five per day, spending maybe half an hour a day writing them and using realkana.
I constantly drilled myself, though. Trying to remember each kana and their sounds in my head whenever i could. I even drew them on the fogged glass in the shower :)I suppose i could have done more than five a day, but at the time i was worried i would just overdo it and not remember anything by the next day.

It looks like a code to get access to exclusive content maybe. I don’t need a full translation, but if someone can just tell me quickly what it is, that’d be great. Thanks.I got hiragana stickers on eBay. They work fine and don’t have any effect on my typing. For about $5 it’s worth a shot.
Thanks for posting this :)
As Zach said, Last.fm is a decent place to go. You can search for tags, such as ‘japanese‘.
There are some good playlists on 8tracks.
There are also blogs out there for Japanese music, such as Sparkplugged. And if you want to get weird, look up Vocaloids.
Despite all these sources, i still find it difficult to find music that suits my tastes. You may have more success, though.
Aikibujin: Wow, thanks a lot for that post. Having an accent is something i’ve really been worried about. Your post gives me a different perspective of the problem. Maybe i should actually learn the language before i start nitpicking :P
Oh okay. Now that you mention it i think the other place i saw it was a musician’s name.
Thanks for the info.Wi is in Nichijou. Fairly popular, i think. You can see the kana on the cover of the manga and i think during the anime intro too.
Can’t remember where i saw we.
