    @Astralfox: Asking myself ‘why’ isn’t something I thought of, definitely something to ponder.

    @MisterM: That’s the thing, I know 5-10 minutes isn’t much. I’ve been doing a pretty good job lately staying honest with myself, clicking ‘again’ when I don’t know the word. I suppose if I keep it up, I’ll build the discipline to get it done more efficiently.

    @Hattori – Typo sorry, I meant “…inside a particular season” haha

    @Everyone else – Thanks, chapters is what I’ve been calling them. I thought maybe they might be referred to as episodes or some other term.

    “When you look away from me and stop measuring my existence, my quantum state makes it so I’m all textbooks at once. When you look away, I’m a French textbook, a Hindu textbook, and a Mandarin textbook all at the same time. So you want to learn another language but love TextFugu’s”

    Just saw this one today and it looks like there should be more to it. It just kind of leaves me hanging :\’,

    I love the Dashfugu! Every time I log in the first thing I do is look to see what it says.

    Tae Kim’s Guide to Japanese Grammar has animated stroke order for Hiragana and Katakana.

    http://www.guidetojapanese.org/learn/grammar

    Not sure how to make something a link (haven’t used any HTML since MySpace used it) but it’s there, just look for the chapter on Hiragana and click on a character.

    EDIT I posted this and it came out as a link. Who knew it was that easy lol? :P

    I’m 20. All I remember is reading some little book in school one day that I think was about the difference in American and Japanese culture that I really liked. Either way it mentioned that people in Japan take their shoes off before going into their own or other people’s houses and I thought that was awesome :)

    And thank you.
