Tofugu, TextFugu and WaniKani are all littered with references to Hitchiker’s Guide. It’s only to be expected from “a cool frood who knows where his towel’s at” like Koichi.
I am a blogger (kinda) who is currently in Japan right now, and will be for the next 2 years at least! I’m an English scientist who is here as part of my postgraduate research, living in the outskirts of Yokohama and trying not to die in an earthquake-induced laboratory accident.
I blogged beforehand (mainly about food) but am still posting regularly. I’m also writing for a student paper with more “Life in Japan” stuff, which will be linked to as and when it comes. Anyway, if any of y’all feel like giving me a read, my door is always open.
Yokohama is great, but pretty industrial. I live in Tsurumi, which the kanji (鶴見) tell me means something like “Crane view”. There certainly is a view of some cranes from my window, but probably not the right kind!
