Since the changes with the new version and all there has been like 3 new chapters in like 2 months. So I guess the answer is no. That is what happen when you have too much to do and not enough time/help or priority.

My desktop is the best, I think it’s still the original background.

Happy Thanksgiving!
I love american Thanksgiving…american football all day long :DNovember 20, 2011 at 12:06 am in reply to: If there was one thing that you could change about yourself, what would it be? #21023@larisajane : if you had to choose between ANY-freaking-thing, it would be having longer hair? really? that’s kind of surprising!!!!
Anyway, I guess I’d go with something like : do not worry about what people might think.
I’d say learn more grammar. You will be better at seeing how sentences can be broke down and isolate vocabulary words you don’t know. And really a song seem difficult. (not sure about that tho)
It’s definitely a good idea to at least try rtk, but like missingno15, i didn’t like it. I was not learning On, Kun. I was not learning any words, single or multiple kanji words. Sure, there are the keywords, but some of them aren’t all that great and more or less related to the words used with the said kanji. Other than that, I really prefer to learn Kanji in context, you have a better feel for them I believe.
But most of all, I just disliked it and I couldn’t put the time into it.
What really affects your personnality is the alignment of the planets.
I’m O- and it doesn’t fit me since I’m selfish and hate others *evil laugh*
No soriously I don’t believe in that kind of things, well it’s not that I don’t believe, it’s really there is nothing to believe to begin with.
I really don’t know so I’ll just say this without any evidence it would be good or better.
You seem to be streaky, meaning you have some big motivation time and you do a lot and after it is completely dry for a long time.
My advise would be to intentionally stop you during the days you want to study a lot to keep some for tomorrow and don’t burn yourself out. That’s more for the lesson.
As for Anki or anything you use to practice or revise, you just have to put the time. Take a watch, tell yourself, I’ll do 30 minutes. You must have 30 minutes free somewhere in your day… Study and after 30 minutes look at what you have done. I’m pretty sure you’ll be happy and then keep up with that. Not really sure it should help, just trying some things here ^^
You are right, fluency isn’t what I meant with this goal. I was more talking about ” comfortable communication skills ” meaning I can manage any japanese environnement. But yeah like you said, not meaning being actually fluent or not making mistakes. That would be too long on my own, not living in Japan.
Was 3 years for me, I started in January 2011. I guess i’m pretty much okay with where I am. I’ll try to focus more and improve reading/writing skill. Listening start to be good and speaking is crappy, no surprise, I don’t practice much ^^
Just trying to learn / practice vocabs/kanji. Listening to movies, anime, music. I’ll start reading and writing on a regular basic after my semester, december. That’s about that
There are just so many weird person in our society. Since I got here like 6 months ago, I have been amazed so many times.
You don’T unzip ”into” anki, you just unzip and then from anki, open them ^^
For me, I take the ultimate deck and I’m unlocking and learning words…when I have time or my review begin to be short, I unlock some others, etc etc until I’ll have unlocked all. Don’t know if it’s the best way, but it’s a simple way. When I’m done, I’ll regroup all my deck into a big one and re-review all + Add some of my own words.
Oh and even if I didn’t do RTK, I unlock only the Kanji, so I’m learning Kanji at the same time.
