Hey thanks for the welcome! And yeah, I am extremely fortunate to have this opportunity – I definitely do not take it for granted. I am a university student, doing part-time work with computer graphics companies and slightly-less-than-part-time on my own research.
Living wise, I’m in a small prefecture called Setagaya, which is in the Shibuya ward area. As for the sight-seeing, I took two weeks off and traveled across Kyoto and Osaka (had too much food & Sake, visited temples and shrines, and spoke very poor Japanese to everyone). I hope to do many more trips during the year, depending on what I can afford!
It’s really a great place, easy to get lost in the massive winding corridors through the middle of the cities :)
So anyway, enough about me – what are you studying Japanese, any pro tips from a master like yourself?
