Welcome to the forum! I’m glad we don’t seem like angry Germans! (I actually love how German sounds :P)
Its good to start at a young age too. By the way, if you don’t mind, which country are you from?
It’s actually not that bad, if you forget and then re-remember it can become one of the most remembered items.
If you’re having trouble the simplest way to add already connected media, is to go to My Documents/Anki and find the .anki file and copy that exact file name into the name of a new folder and add .media
so if the anki deck file is called
HelloHello.anki , make a new folder called HelloHello.media and put all the files in there. As I said though this only works if the media is already connected in a pre-made deck, which most are.
Don’t worry Christophj, all is forgiven ;)
Also, should of gone half way and got the version of the game with Japanese audio and english subtitles. Or maybe just go all out Japanese haha, but things i REALLY want to enjoy I find hard to voluntarily give up details for >_>
^That’s SO Raven ;)
おお、久しぶりだね。まだ日本に住んでいるのか?すれば、どうだったかな?
Yeah this guy has actually been advertising EVERYWHERE. (Ive seen him on teamliquid and screddit). Hes actually not a Japanese native so hes not as good as talking as I’d like, but hes still improving.
If you really want to follow Japanese stuff. http://starcraft2.jpcommunity.com/sc2/ is great and Ive picked up a lot of words from Japanese fans. I’m currently building a deck of Starcraft related vocab. Heres some examples
論評する – to commentate
選手 – player
観戦 – watching a sport (starcraft)
拡張 – expansion
失格 – disqualify (DQ!)
反撃 – counter attack
不利 – disadvantage
全滅 – total annihilation
青い炎ドロップ – Blue flame drop
勿体ない – IMBA IMBA IMBA (among other things)Went to the city today, visited a lot of Japanese places. The most legit ramen place i know, maruyu the Japanese grocer, Kinokuniya too.
I bought a middle grader book called 若女将小学生 and よつばと!4
Welcome stranger! (what’re ya buyin’!?)

September 17, 2011 at 4:21 am in reply to: How do you balance School Work and Learning Japanese? o.O #17391I couldn’t so I made them the same thing and took Japanese as an elective. Besides that, try not to worry about quantity as much if you’re busy, and just do SOMETHING every day.
Oh well, thank you still! And yes I advise everyone check out Justhungry.
The author actually got cancer recently, but luckily it seems to have a high recovery rate. Shes looking up and shes gonna write a lot more articles soon so keep an eye out!
Yes this is a bad habit for me to, like i’ll accidentally just leave it on and get lazy and decide I don’t want to actually read something myself.
…HEY! ahummm umm….HEY!
