Very true.
Yeah, I’ve been going back over some accumulated JLPT lists on ANKI. They are kind of helpful, but they seem to fill up a lot of cards with mainly trans/intrans.Anyhow, I will continue studying hard.
Thanks.
SinisterT.Its all good in the hood, during this time I was finishing up the joyo. I have finally attained that goal. Which sucked when they altered it… I was like :O ‘looks like I’ll be studying another two months.
It is nice to be amongst the froodulent, however.
SinisterTWelcome to Mordor, I mean textfugu… I’ll be your troll this evening…. :)
In all seriousness, glad to have you aboard.
So, we’re all solely, PC gamers here then? Personally, during the few mins of downtime I get, I like playing shooters and trying to memorize Japanese lyrics. Bwaha ha ha.
Word to the wise.
Listening to AKFG makes you a god at black ops. :)insert Koichi’s famous ‘slow head tilt, with mouth agape.”
I’d show some pics, but its reletively uninteresting.
American/Japanese flag, study desk, shortwave radio, (roughly) One metric assload of kanji cards, Japanese/English dictionaries/vocab/kanji books. The rest of the walls are bare.
I suppose I could make a video, but I need to find a beanie first. See, I just recently shaved my head, bald… like… Buddhist monk bald. Which I had no intention of doing. Bwahahahaa, but yeah, good thread.
TRA LA LA LA LA (flower-field skipping music.)
No condemning, just reflecting my oppinion.
By the way, the way you started this, with the ketchup reference. Sheer gold my friend.-.-;
_suggestions for practicing verbal Japanese? I seem to read and write alright, but when I go to talk, I both hesitate, and get a rather bad case of the ‘duuuuuuh—s’

Well, this is a forum, tell me your opinion. :)@Winter
フフフ。Also, if you guys dig ska, you could check out “Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra.” If anyone know’s of some others, that have a decent horn section, hit me up on it! Heh heh.
(I’d post a link, however, when at home, it proves a might difficult.)
Gelugugu – Boon Boon Boon.
(Most of the time, its Japanese ska, that I prefer.) :)
Hence, the 175R, which is a vector for ska punkish overtones.
My father thinks that, the dude singing sounds like, what he refers to as a “Japanese leprachan”. (So wrong) Bwahahaha.Well, I will always recomend Kanji Gold, albeit a kanji learning dinosaur, it still, can be rather effective. Its not really, an “online” tool, its more like a kanji multiple choice program. Like I mentioned, its OLD. Like, 90′s old. But it has ~6,000 or more kanji in it. (Going by grade order.)
Anyhow, good luck with your studies.
Keep them doggies rollin, and all that biz.SinisterT.
