You can actually cancel the payment plan in paypal! Go to your archived payments to find your reuccring payment- click view details and click cancel payment!

That way you won’t end up paying any more when you don’t need to. I’m not sure how you’d go about getting your money back, hopefully Koichi responds to you… maybe try to contact him through twitter/youtube/or some other form of social media.
