Yeah I agree it’s silly. Im still very much near the beginning so I find they do help. If Im done with 6k (when that ever happen) Ill just take native material (hopefully Ill be at that level then) and make my own cards if necessary.

It does help the listening comprehension though, hearing the sentences over and over again, I think. Much better than the TF deck where you have just the word by itself.

If you’re looking for a premade vocab anki deck, I personally find the optimized 6k deck much better.

    https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/702754122

The cards have the words themselves and an example sentence plus audio for both.
Its arranged in a way that takes account of frequency as well as so as to gradually introduce new words (So that in the example sentence you understand eveyrthing but the new word for that card)

I would download the audio for 0-6k only for now, as its massive in size. You can decide if you want the 6k-10k later.
Do reset the deck first before you start using it.

“2) After downloading the database entires appear in random order.
I recommend restoring the order by doing the following procedure:
    For Windows:
    - Select “core/2k/10k Futher Optimized PIC/SOUND” deck
    - Click on the “Browse” button
    - Clicn on the “Current Deck”
    - Select all entries by pressing Ctrl-A
    - Click on Edit->Reposition->OK
That procedure should work as well on Linux and Mac. There is currently no way to do it on mobile devices.”

I think I found another error.

    In season 6 lesson 9 (http://www.textfugu.com/season-6/passive/9-4/#top)

You are asked to convert 入れる to passive form.

The answer is given as 入られる (in the audio it’s also はいられる)
Wouldnt it be いれられる? As in being inserted. 入られる doesnt really make sense.
Does はいる even have a passive form? How can you make a passive out of ‘to enter?’

Hmm I wonder if Hermione would count as a 魔法少女 ^^

How is EtoEto by the way? Is it any good?

Is it like those advanced lessons in Textfugu?

    I’m not 100% sure but..

    in http://www.textfugu.com/season-5/sugi/8-4/#top

The sugi form of いかがわしい is said to be いかがわしかすぎる. She even pronounces with the か in the audio so maybe it’s correct anyway.

Well I get that you say いる in set phrases like 気に入る, 入れる、入り口 and such but I was just wondering since she says いったら as in “if I enter”

So in the case of 入る both pronunciations are interchangeable and basically at the whim of the speaker, though いる is rare?
