Hooray, sales! Hoooray!!! for bookworms!! (Bows on meeting fellow bookworm/bibliophile (since we are grownups) Victoria for the first time.) A pleasure to meet you. And now, for the serious business – do you have any light novels you would recommend? What (genre) is your poison – nay, elixir? Have you read No. 6 (my most recent light-novel love)? Welcome! :)

Congratulations! :-) I finished season 2 in November, and now I just have to keep practicing what I learned there ^^;…but Season 3 was a lot of fun (even meatier than Season 2), you’re going to like it I think. Ganbatte!

Hi! Ah, it’s refreshing to hear about your awesome experience in Japan – it fuels my desire to go there even higher! Welcome, and thank you for sharing your pictures! Nice to meet you! (Happily heads off to go look at pictures nao)

p.s. What are some of the things you would recommend absolutely must be experienced in Japan, or some of your favorite memories from your time there?

Hi Zoe! It’s cool that you began learning Japanese at such a young age – and now you’re getting even more into it! (Also, I am a Naruto fan too, although I had to stop reading because I couldn’t take the suspense – I plan to finish it once the series is completed ^^;.) Welcome, and nice to meet you! :)

Hi Susanne! I am glad Kanji don’t discourage you any more – I totally agree that sometimes, they can even make learning vocabulary easier! And if you learn the radicals first, the Kanji themselves are often not too hard to learn! You can do it! :) Always awesome to meet someone who loves manga – I’ll be checking out Vagabond – and thanks for the link to Mr. Kohler’s blog, it sounds amazing! Nice to meet you. :)

Welcome, Alexandra! It was so nice to see your introduction written in Nihongo, I really enjoyed reading it! I even learned a Kanji or 2 (I am a Kanji ultra-n00b :). ) so thanks! Nice to meet you!

OMG Gaelic…my secret obsession… Well, not so secret anymore, I guess…but anyways, sweet! Welcome, Emerald Isle! You are very interesting (cheese is delicious, you know?), and I will definitely be looking out for unicorn farts from now on, in order to pass them to your general direction. ;D I may be tired. I will try a more normal post next time, but the sentiment will remain the same, which is, happy to meet you! :)

Ah, I just learned a little Hebrew, thanks to you – NEW LANGUAGE! (I’m gleefully cackling and rubbing my hands together inside right now). Another language lover! And a mathematician – very cool! And a foodie! I could hug you! But I will restrain myself. :) Nice to meet you. :D

Hi! Very cool that you want to take your nursing skills out into the field, I think! Also kudos for taking the initiative to start learning Japanese early! Nice to meet you! :)

Indeed, Lee! Ganbasshou…ne? (Hahaha what’s the Japanese equivalent of “Spanglish”?)

Hi winterpromise, and thank you! …don’t remind me :cries:. Oh well, yea, Japanese is just really addictive, isn’t it? Language, culture, the whole dang island chain is like a drug. Making it a priority was probably inevitable – I’m just hooked! Lol (Btw do you prefer to be addressed as winterpromise or Cassandra?)
