Yes, I have lived in Japan since 2006, though I have had some travel back to Minnesota and to the Philippines and Korea. I guess I am one of the older Japanese students here at 56 and counting! I have mixed experience with Japanese language study, and unfortunately, I have spent a number of years using Romaji for part of my work as a monk and priest. I presently live at Nasu Trappist Monastery, and I work for sisters who run a farm and a cookie factory. It is beautiful place in Tochigi Prefecture. We have a nice view of Mount Nasu (Nasu-dake).
