I started in early August ’11, so I was probably in season two about September or October. Right now I’m in season four and am currently buried under kanji right now… I think once I get a handle on the stuff in season 4 (all the verbs, adjectives, etc.), I’ll start to feel confident putting sentences together myself instead of waiting for Koichi to do it in his practice pages.
I want to throw another thank you toward Koichi and the Textfugu team. It has really been the best independent learning experience. I’m already recommending it to everyone I know!

I think you might be looking too far into the list thing. I’ve just started season four and completely forgot about the list until you brought it up. The whole idea of the exercise was to get you figuring out words that mean something to you in Japanese that you could use once you forge that core understanding. If you can’t fill the list or have trouble finding translations (some of them have several Japanese translations), don’t sweat it. Work with the ones you have, spend a bit of time figuring out how to read and pronounce them, then move on.

10 bucks says MvP is going to win this month’s GSL!! :P Are you like me and watch more SC2 than you play? I’m only a silver Terran too, but love the hell outta SC2. Happy to see another fellow nerd on here :D
