Speaking of Akira Kurosawa, Throne of Blood or Seven Samurai!
I think it works and is great etc, etc, but is just quite impractical. Trying to do it around an eight working day isn’t easy.
Sorry about that Astral.
“I apologize if this question is a bit stupid” – don’t apologise, just keep asking.
@ninjoetsu - I’ve only started using so I don’t know heaps about it, but I was able to set it up by going to the iTunes store & in the bottom right of the screen there’s a country icon. After you select that you can choose your country or region. Selecting Japan there allowed me to get access.
@ninjoetsu - if you’re just after the (free) podcasts you just need to change your country to Japan in iTunes.
Always more E.
Good question.
Hey “Hey”
I noticed this too, I started a topic for it but can’t find it right now. They do stop appearing, I make my own now.

You should have a sentences deck in Anki that you’ve been adding to. Open it up, and on the top left is a green plus sign “add items”, you can find it in the menu too.
Now, as you go through each Textfugu lesson, there are example sentences on the pages, with the little blue arrow that plays audio.
So, taking a random example, Season 4 “What do you want”, page 6.
We have the sentence “すし を たべます”, so take that and copy it into the “expression” field of your “add items” popup window.
Then copy “I will eat sushi” into the “meaning” field.
Then right click on the blue arrow (the one that plays the audio for the sentence), and select “copy link address” (this is in chrome, it might be different in another browser).
Go back to your add items popup, and right click (in the answer field) and “paste”. It will look something like this “[sound:34-tori.mp3]” (though not 34-tori.mp3 as that’s for bird). It will play the audio automatically so you will know that it worked.
Add any tags that you want, and then click “add” at the bottom. Usually there are about 10-20 example sentences per lesson that I find useful.
Welcome!
Thanks all!
Some bloke said to me “don’t worry, be happy.”
Yeah, I accidentally found it when going backward through the casual verbs chapter.
Cool, thanks.
I assumed they were as they were used after a character’s name.
I’ve seen people on there write about what’s in the news, their opinions (on anything), what they’re studying (e.g. your biology) even stories and dialogues.
