@a fox – Going through all the seasons is a big job, up to you if you want to do it.

I miss the sentence decks terribly and make my own each lesson now. The vocab, kanji & radical decks are all great ways to reinforce what you’ve learnt and the sentence decks reinforced the grammar you’ve learnt, so I think they’re important.

Your ‘ultimate’ deck must be huge!

The poor old Olympics, groan. Once a proud beast is now a stumbling zombie…

@k man – yeah, a bit sad to see Cahill go out to pasture in the MLS. Although his last season or so haven’t been great I got the sense he’d still have plenty left to give in the EPL. Did get me thinking though, is he the first Australian to go to the MLS?

On the subject of MA, I’ve done Wing Chun before and think it’s fantastic. I don’t want to get into a discussion about if it’s the best for self-defense, or which MA is, those discussions are rarely useful. I think doing any MA will be beneficial in terms of self-defense.

Not sure about Ultimate Vocab, but I’ve looked at the Ultimate Verbs deck and it doesn’t seem to cover the verbs introduced in the lessons, but extra ones.

They are quite good (and a great site too).
Think it helps if you’ve learnt the content somewhere first, well it did with me anyway.

Not a huge follower of tennis, but Mr Murray strikes me as having some mental issues regarding tennis, rather than issues with skills…he cracks so easily and so severely, he spends so much time battling with himself rather than with his opponent.

@ ybb & k man – Speaking of Seinfeld, I’ve been getting into “Curb Your Enthusiasm”…Seinfeld updated & without the PG rating. It’s fantastic.

@ k man – Persie is leaving, such a predictable experience for an Arsenal…another player brought to England, another player developed by the club departing for same old crap.
If modern football hadn’t already collapsed upon itself I’d upset at this. I can only hope he doesn’t go to City, that’d be pretty sad. Juve I could live with.

Who is the old chap in your profile pic (original) anyway?

Yes, this http://www.voiceblog.jp/japaneselistening/ indeed does seem wonderful, thank you missing.

Any other such websites/resources like this?

@k man – That is bizarre, the Real & Barca players getting along in the national team. They go at each so hard and ferociously in the league and then completely put it side – fascinating.

Premier league club, patience? Rangers will win the league before that happens, surely!

@ クリス – I too have always found the whole “timid” approach, as you describe it, as bizarre and overly cautious. Yet, the one time a manager breaks with tradition it backfires!

Prandelli using his third substitution on 57 minutes….I still can’t get over that. Sure Spain probably would’ve won but after that Italy had no chance.
