Cool, enjoy!
Spain were the best side and whatnot.
However, I am finding myself moving further and further away from their style of play….it can be beautiful to watch, but lately it’s just been a huge grind-fest…Where are you up to?
Yeah, I did the bounty thing on the relevant page but will still have to fix myself. Urgh.
Just started the kanji vocab 4-7 deck and it is way off…VERY frustrating…
I seem to recall early on in Textfugu there was a part about writing down why you want to learn Japanese and what your goals with it are….I guess looking back on those and keeping those in mind should be motivating.
Also, taking pride in any little victories you have with the language should further motivate one!

I’m not really concerned about the vocab.
Yeah, I think fur/hair has audio that doesn’t match the answer or something in the vocab
The “Husband” kanji, refers to it as being as the “husband” radical…which I’m pretty sure I haven’t seen yet….
Thanks Kman…I got thrown I guess…was doing some new Kanji and it referenced a radical that hadn’t been covered yet.
@ hey – you can force a review in Anki, after you’ve done your daily dose just click on “Open” on the deck you want to do, then “Review”, then “Review Early”, then you can do as many as you want.
Watching shows/films is alright (as a beginner), I do that too.
One small thing I like is just wandering through parts of the city with Japanese shops/restaurants and seeing how much I can read, or at least partially read.
It’s fascinating how people have slowly gone off Spain’s style of play recently…even I feel myself siding with Italy in the final, although rationally it’s hard to see past Spain 1-0.
Reason and logic have failed us. This issue can now only be decided via deathmatch.
@ kman – Yeah, finished ‘i’ adjectives, ready to move on to the next lesson (a lot of vocab in those adjective lessons!). How’ve you found the adjectives?
I missed that Japan/Australia game, sounded pretty crazy, especially when the ref wouldn’t let Japan take their free kick at the end of the game…just bizarre.
Prediction time…who will make the final and what will the result be?
I say Spain/Germany…2-1 to Germany, partly out of hope!
