Thanks all!
Wow, う-verb and る-verb, revolutionary!
Joel – re “ too correct” – I meant to use it as a verb, but things went off the tracks at some point.

1) It wouldn’t hurt, if that’s what you want to do.
2)Tae Kim is good, although I can’t say what is or isn’t too complicated.
Thanks Elenkis!
Thanks.
Yes, I’ve since been enlightened on that!
I’ll go sit in the naughty corner.
I butchered Japanese in this Lang-8 entry -Recently I have been correcting too much on Lang-8.-私は「Lang-8」で近頃正しすぎています。
A correction I got-
私は「Lang-8」で近頃添削しまくっています。
The accompanying explanation:
「~しまくる」=「~しすぎる」
「~しまくっている」=「~しすぎている」
I didn’t recognise the conjugation provided.Good day
What is this verb conjugation, ~しまくる, all about?
Thank you for your time.

TF:
Verbs から
v.dict + から食べるから
Because (I) eat…Thanks Mark, Joel & Mister. Sorry if I wasn’t clear, my frustration seeping through no doubt.
Thinking of ~ている as verb in its own right helps.
Regarding: “Because I’m -ing” = ~ていますから”
I was looking at some notes this morning & thought for から the preceding verb had to be in dictionary form & not ~ます form, e.g. ~ているから. Is that incorrect?
The Aussie restaurant I went to in Osaka was tragic. African objects were seemingly passed off as Aboriginal.
Did you pass?
