Hi Shawna! Welcome to Textfugu. :) Hopefully you’ll find this is the right resource to get you rolling with your Japanese studies!
It is hard to feel like you’re not picking it up as well as you should. Just remember that you don’t have to compare your learning with someone else’s. Just think how much more you’ll learn if you keep at it! Even if it takes time, you’re still making progress day by day if you stay with it. :)
Welcome and good luck with your studies!
~CassandraCompleted an hour and a half of studying today. After missing a couple days over Thanksgiving, I’ve been hungry for Japanese this week. No matter how much I study, I keep wanting to do more. I hope this lasts for awhile!
Carlie, sorry about your puppy. :( I totally understand what you mean about part of you dying with him.
Welcome to the forums. Glad to have you. :) Pester away with questions! That’s what we’re here for.
You study 2-3 hours a day? That’s impressive! Keep up the great work!

I voted for you! :)
Hi Lee – Great reason to learn Japanese! I’ve heard languages are a great way to keep the mind sharp. I’d rather learn a language than calculus. ;)
Good luck with your studies!
