Hi Jeff from France. :) When I started learning Japanese, I didn’t want to learn to read it either. I was terrified of kanji and didn’t want to be bothered with kana. But now I’m so glad I started learning how to read/write Japanese! It’s definitely beneficial.

March was one of my best study months ever, despite being sick for four days and studying very little on those days. 32 solid hours of studying in March and I pushed myself out of my comfort zone by starting to read adult level native materials on a regular basis. I can’t wait to see what April holds!
