Rhythm – Cute user icon! Welcome to the forums. :) I’m glad you decided to learn Japanese. Hopefully it will help you out. At least you have motivation to return to Japan! That should help you be consistent with your studies.
Welcome and good luck!
~CassandraLauren – congrats on getting married! A honeymoon to Japan will be amazing, I am sure. I hope you have a wonderful time!
Good luck with all of your studies!
~CassandraHi Deryck , welcome! Kanji… it depends on how fast you study, whether or not you will outpace the lessons. Between the kanji lessons here and completing RTK, I feel I have a very solid base on which to continue learning kanji and vocab.
Good luck with your studies!
~CassandraSounds like you have great motivation. :) Keep trying. Never give up on your dreams!
Good luck with your studies!
~CassandraSarah,
Welcome, welcome! That’s alright that you have no idea how you got the idea of learning Japanese. Just stick with it now that you’ve found it! :)
Welcome again and good luck with your studies!

I’m vegetarian/vegan but I’m afraid I can’t help much. I’ve heard it’s getting easier to be vegetarian or even vegan in Japan; it just takes some effort. I know there’s a blog all about it… let me see if I can remember…
Here’s one of them – http://veganjapan.blogspot.com/
And another article (great blog all around btw) – http://www.justhungry.com/followup-report-being-vegan-japan
Good luck!
Neil, that sounds awesome. I hope you get to return soon! If you go in the spring, where are you planning on going?
Howdy Neil. Welcome to the forums! How cool that you’ve already been to Tokyo. What was your favorite part of the visit?
Welcome and good luck with your studies!
~CassandraDana – welcome! I think it’s great that you’re working Japanese into your schedule like a college class. Consistency really is key!
Good luck with all of your studies!
