My husband works in the IT field and is a virtualization architect. If you need any career advice, I’m sure he’d be glad to answer any questions. :)

Hi Jamie, welcome! How cool that you’ve already been to Japan. :)
Good luck with your studies!
CassandraNo idea. :) I’m not sure Koichi has specified where he plans to stop.
Today I reviewed a ton of Anki cards, listened to two JPod101 lessons, read six pages in my Tadoku book, and attempted the first two pages of a novel. That novel is way over my head (my comprehension was way low) and I’m not sure if it’s worth “reading” it for the practice or if I should wait until my vocab level is higher.
Hi Jesse! Welcome. :)
I can’t change your profile for you so email Koichi to ask. He’ll be able to fix it on his end. koichi@textfugu.com

Congrats on finishing season 2! Thanks for the recommendation for “36 Views…” I love memoirs and I love reading about people learning about new cultures. Surprisingly, my library owns a copy of this book so I’ll be checking it out in the near future! :)

Ok, so today I reached word 100 on Core6k. Yay? lol. I also studied two JapanesePod101 lessons and read two pages in my bento book. The reading is getting easier. Yay!
Hi Tyler,
Think of them like the different fonts we have in English. They are all English letters but look differently because of the font used. :) My advice? Relax and you’ll easily learn to read the kana regardless of the font used. :)
