join us! join us! join us! jooooooiiin us!
lol
actually i don’t have time for the forums much anymore. this forum is easier to keep track of ;)
=^..^=I agree with mister, it definitely could and should be faster to get to next question. seems cool though! I, too, wish I had this when I learned kana :) Thanks for sharing!
=^..^=To me, TextFugu’s greatest asset is the community. So I’m investing my time, talent and passion in the hopes of creating a wonderful community. And if Koichi’s book gets super popular before we have time to build a strong foundation, that community could turn into a cesspool of anonymity and frustration, so at least the lack of updates allows us some time to enjoy the intimacy and malleability of the current TextFugu.
hmmm. the community actually used to be MUCH stronger. Most people have moved on, I think. WaniKani, on the other hand, has a very strong community and very active forum. ah well
=^..^=last i checked, it’s free on android, but like $20 on ios devices

=^..^=who’s the artist and what are some of the lyrics?
=^..^=EDIT: I would like to ask you “Did you follow Koichis suggestion about not telling people?”
When I started learning, when Textfugu was but a wee baby, he used to tell us to TELL everyone. So, I don’t think I went crazy telling people or anything, but that was the advice I got. Later on he switched it and I was all like, too late!! :p
Actually I started learning from other sources first and pretty sure I told people even before starting TF. So I guess this question is irrelevant to me. :3
=^..^=i agree with Xaromir. wholeheartedly :D
stick with it! がんばって!
=^..^=Only quit when you no longer want (or need) to learn more Japanese.
Even Japanese people don’t know every Japanese word. I certainly don’t know every English word. So who cares? Learn what you can and don’t give up! (unless you really want to, then go ahead!) :)=^..^=those are all correct :)
it depends on context and the actual vocab word that it’s used in
=^..^=Aikibujin thanks for posting this, I was wondering what was going on with the updates. I’ll hold off getting stuck back into things for the moment then and see if the re-do will re-motivate me :P
that’s been my plan since a few years ago ;-)
=^..^=I understand it must be hard to read a lot of negative posts… but I must say, some of the negativity is quite just. specifically, the fact that the same questions are being asked over and over again. I know you’re busy and don’t want to put effort in this site since it’s going to be replaced BUT some of these issues seem like super easy fixes. example, just add a note about 七人 pronunciation! please, even if you don’t respond here.. a simple note can’t be too time consuming… and it would prevent a lot of confusion for the people who are still trying to learn from your current website. there are a couple more things that constantly confuse your students and can be found browsing the forums.
=^..^=Greetings! Wow, I never thought I’d come across someone who not only knows what EFT is but also does it professionally, in this forum. Not that there’s any reason that there wouldn’t be. Yay! And.. welcome! Well, that’s all I have to add. :-P
Oh, EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique. google it :3 :D
=^..^=except MEEE!! lol, sort of :3
=^..^=yikes! at least WK is still going strong…………
….
=^..^=3 major questions I need verifying:
1. Will I be able to skip to my level of Kanji in Textfugu or will I have to go through some old stuff?
sadly, no
2. Does Wanikani continue to use Anki or is it it’s own system?
it’s own [awesome] system
3. How much extra content is there? compared to TF? I’d say a lot, but don’t have any numbers or anythingThank you very much in advance, just finished Textfugu and I need something to keep my studies moving along.
