ごめんなさい I cannot find such a post. Do you remember what it was called?
=^..^=That’s a cool idea. I used to have fun playing on pictochat. I forgot that it existed though lol
=^..^=Hmmmmm…
Since its like quoting the person and “being” them.. I would guess no honorific… Since the person, ellen, wouldnt use one.. But.. Hmmm.. Lol. Also it would depend on Ellen’s and Blake’s relationship too. Maybe they are close and don’t use San with each other. Maybe since you’re being rude by pretending to be another person, you would also not use honorific. :P
Basically I have no clue=^..^=Dont listen to your friend. Masculine and feminine? That’s a new one to me! :P
The ません is negative and adding でした makes it past negative.. They are both formal.
Hope that helps! :)- This reply was modified 12 years, 5 months ago by zeldaskitten.
=^..^=Yes this kanji irks me. There seem to be two different ways of writing it. When I first discovered it I sent a bounty saying there should be a note about it since the ways of writing it are so very different, much more than your normal font issues. A note on the lesson page I think would stop a lot of future confusions. I first noticed it in my anki deck cuz it didn’t match what I had learned… and i thought it was another actual error. But nope. Just some kanji font craziness..
=^..^=thanks everyone! this was totally helpful :)
=^..^=Joel:
Note that in every example you gave, kanjiman, the い is functioning as a long え – that’s why they’re not い adjectives.not きらい :-)
=^..^=きれい is a な adj so according to the rules in TF…:
“Let’s start with な adjectives first. They’re similar to nouns, with one difference:na-adj + な + はずです
べんりな はずです (expect to be convenient)”Seems to me like he made a booboo in the practice sheet. It happens. I usually just submit a bounty and move on. Sometimes they get fixed, sometimes not.
=^..^=In anki, it tests you on onyoumi. The kanji deck is all meanings and onyoumis. The vocab deck is where it tests you on actual readings of actual words. I hope that helps!
=^..^=It would be great to get rid of anki. I mean I like it and all, but it’s just too complicated for most people. I feel this forum is mostly anki related questions! (we should have an anki section in the forum btw). :P
However the new srs would definitely have to be good for mobile. Maybe even an app.
Then again. I just realized I do like the control I have in anki, as opposed to the lack of control in wanikani. I like choosing when my next review will be. And I like the option to keep reviewing even before it’s time. I don’t like how if I mistype something it gets marked as wrong and slows the progress for that item. No such issue in anki! Also I enjoy knowing how many cards are left to review. Currently that doesn’t exist in wanikani but of course that may change.
=^..^=coffee jelly!
=^..^=I’ve heard it sounding like wo in songs.
=^..^=i also say go for it. after all, you never know when the update will actually happen ;P
=^..^=its just like in english really. “the black cat” vs “the cat is black”.
=^..^=nope but now i’m interested!
