I’m a little confused because I thought we were already using version three. There used to be little “v3″s next to the lessons once they were redone. This was when I decided to start over again since I hadn’t studied in so long, and kind of refresh on the basics.. And I waited till I saw a v3 next to lesson before going over it. Then the site changed again and they disappeared. Is this really version 4 now? Not that it makes a big difference…

Sorry about your loss. My おじいさん (grandfather) also passed on this week (sunday morning) and I lost some study time too due to family events and the like.

Mistakes I imagine. I’ve sent bounties for a few of these mistakes already.. I got a response for one of them saying that that particular kanji could be written with four or five strokes so they left it where it was. Sorry I forget which kanji it was, at the moment..

It doesn’t surprise me a whole lot since they don’t focus on writing at all anyway. I bet people learning without knowing anything about strokes would never notice… Since they never learned that some strokes continue for two or more lines in a kanji…

You could say that, kind of.. But it really is just one radical, written slighly different when in different kanjis. Also it depends on fonts too. And honestly if you’re learning kanji through Textfugu, keep in mind that he sometimes makes things up, radical wise, in a way that I assume he thinks makes it easier to learn the kanji. Sometimes making up radicals that don’t officially exist and ignoring ones that do. I often find that the radicals he says are in a kanji don’t match when u compare to sites like denshi jisho. But since it gets you to learn the kanji, often easier because he picks things that make more sense, I can’t say I mind too much.

I remember learning that fun fact about earwax.. I then realized why those ear cleaners they love so much work for them. I can’t imagine using them myself, with gooey ear wax and all lol. I’ll stick with q tips :-P.

I once tried to look up how they store their chopsticks. Random I know. I couldn’t find the answer online though so I’m still not sure. In a drawer? Seperated by pairs somehow? I keep all my chopsticks together in a cup. =^..^=

I feel dumb now. After re reading the lesson it was definitely clear that it’s about movement. Lesson of the day, don’t study while drinking lol. I posted the question in the morning after realizing I wasn’t sure about it, then went to work for 13 hours and only re read the lesson just today. :P

I thought that would be the case but wanted to make sure since “going to blah blah” in English sounds like future tense.
