I like minimalistic designs! I thought the old one was rather minimalistic while still being stylish and having nice brightful (is that a word?) pictures etc. Now it’s even more minimalistic – I’m guessing it’s for an upcoming smart phone app or better mobile/pad support?
I’m not saying this change is bad, but it feels less “inviting” and happy when it lost pictures etc. Might just be because I’m not used to it yet either, so just a matter of time perhaps.
Before logging in though.. rethink that design at least :PSomeone mentioned the navigation, and I feel that I really miss under-menus for which page I’m on in a specific chapter.
Lets say I’m on season 4 -> Entering chapter 2 -> going forward to page 3..
From the Table of contents I can choose page, but when I’m already on a page I can’t simply skip to page 5 unless I click “前 ->” a few times (I could fiddle with the URL in the browser, but naah).
Perhaps a line of buttons for the pages, [1][2][3][4][5] for example, just like on the Table of contents. It’d probably reduce the amount of page-loads, too, but that’s perhaps not any concern depending on the site host. :)All in all, Textfugu is ofcourse a good site, and design is always a matter of taste so everyone can’t be happy.

Any good tips for sorting all the decks properly? I’m doing something very wrong, or my Anki likes to put imported decks wherever it feels like it belongs.. got no order what so ever. It’d be awesome with one complete deck per season too, but that’s just the lazy part of me speaking :P
Thanks!
Yeah, kanji is quite daunting at first and it’s surely a lot to learn, but when you’ve actually learned them it’s great! :)
They sort of give a meaning in the meaning (Inception!), even though I don’t know very many yet.Ah ok, so if the first test one would clear is N3, then one would be “certified” for N4 and N5 as well?
I will not rush with applying next year either then :)
Good luck for you who takes the test!I haven’t looked into the schedule much, but is it possible to do like 2-3 tests of different levels at the “same time” (to get JLPT 5-3 in one go for example)? Or are there strange rules like you can only take one JLPT test per season etc?
