@Joel, does this mean I should stop doing the kanji practice on TextFugu altogether and subscribe to wanikani right now? I had originally planned to go through TextFugu completely and then start wanikani after.

Thanks for the suggestion, Joel. You’re right, though; it’s not really ideal having the sentences not go along with TextFugu. I gave making my own deck a shot today and it actually worked surprisingly well, allowing me to crank out about 50 sentences with audio directly from the examples given in the lessons.

Follow-up question:

Does this mean that you only add な when the adjective is before the noun in polite speech? In other words, you drop the な in casual when the adjective precedes the noun?
